You should first comprehend the fundamental features of AI text and how AI detectors are able to recognize them before we examine how to humanize AI text.

This is what I got when I requested ChatGPT to compose a few phrases regarding social media.  I will take a copy of the text and use an AI detector.  Let us use the free edition of the web program WordPotter AI.  I will click “Run AI check” after pasting the content.  As you can see, the text is marked as 100% artificial intelligence by the AI detector, which is not surprising considering that ChatGPT was used to construct it.  The AI detector properly identified this as AI-generated text for four primary reasons:

2.  Repetitive phrases
3.  Clichés and fluff
4.  Outdated or old‑fashioned language

Let us examine each of these elements in more detail, one by one.

1.  Sentence length
The passages that ChatGPT and other AI tools typically write have sentences that are roughly the same length.  Each sentence in this paragraph is about 24 and 25 words long.  This is not usually the case with human text.  In order to produce a natural flow, humans often combine short and long phrases in their writing.  One of the factors that gives human text a more lively and captivating sense is that.  

2.  Repetitive phrases
In order to make it easier for AI detectors to discover AI-written content, ChatGPT frequently employs repeating phrases in the text it generates.  Let us invite ChatGPT to create a piece about mental health, for instance.  You will see a lot of repetition if you compare the two texts produced by ChatGPT.  The opening line of both texts is “In today’s world.” The phrase “an integral part” appears in both.  While the second has “before plunging into,” the first has “before digging into.” Word for word, both include the phrases “is crucial to” and “woven itself into the fabric of daily existence.” One of the reasons AI-generated material is quickly identified is because of its repetition.

3.  Fluff and clichés
Look at phrases like “In today’s world” and “Look no further.” These clichés add little value; removing them wouldn’t hurt the text. If you’ve used ChatGPT much, you’ve probably noticed it loads its responses with clichés and fluff. You must remove these phrases to humanize AI text.

4.  Outdated or overly formal language
ChatGPT frequently employs jargon that is not commonly used in normal speech, such as extremely formal or even archaic language found in old books or official papers. One way to phrase this would be “Before we get into the benefits of…” instead of “Before diving into the benefits of…” You may put “It is necessary to comprehend where it all started” in place of “It is essential to know the origins of ….”

For example, the following sentence was produced by ChatGPT: “Social media is here to stay and conquer its reach across globe and has knitted itself into the fabric of daily life.”

Who speaks in such a manner? It has a simultaneous formal and poetic sound. “Social media is now everywhere and is part of our regular existence,” we may simply state.

This is the updated text. It now sounds more straightforward and natural, as you can see. The sentences range in length, and we have eliminated all superfluous words and cliches.

Let us now run this altered version through the AI detector to see what happens. The detector identifies the text as human-written, which makes sense given that we significantly altered the original ChatGPT text to make it more human, and it was successful.
